Throughout her 7-year tenure at Jewish Family & Child Service (JFCS), Janet provided crucial counsel and support to countless clients.

Janet's exceptional ability to clearly answer questions and alleviate stress earned her the admiration of those she helped. Her colleagues praised her broad-based knowledge of disability rights, and she continued to stay in touch with former clients even after her retirement in 2022.

Janet is lovingly remembered by her husband Jerome Menashe, daughter Erika Menashe, siblings Diane Lefkow, Michael Lefkow, Joe Menashe, and Denise Menashe. A memorial service will be held to celebrate her life, and donations can be made in her memory to support the Portland Hevra Kaddisha.
